Cattleya lueddemanniana & Cattleya lawrenceana var. concolor
An example of good lueddemannina both in color and form. The lip is fantastic! And, of course, there's the fragrance!!!
The second photo shows a not so common variety concolor of Cattleya lawrenceana. Mine is a piece of a friend's plant that is still too smal. I shouldn't have let it flower, but I was really excited to seeing it!!

That C. lawrenceana is beautiful, Mauro. Does this species have any scent? Can it handle intermediate-to-cool winters or is its temperature preferences closer to those of C. lueddemanniana?

Yes, Steve, it can handle intermediate to cool temps during 3 or 4 months (at least my lawrencenas do ). If you can grow Cattleya intermedia, forbesii, labiata, warneri or Laelia purpurata, then you can grow lawrenceana!

I particularly favor the C. lawrenceana and your var. concolor is quite stunning.
Not an easy species to get either

Both gorgeous, but I really like the second one. Thanks for sharing.
