This is a first bloom, and hasn't been registered yet. B. Maria del Carmen is (nodosa x flagellaris). I really like the greenish two-toned color of the teapals. Nice size and seetly fragrant. It suffered in a pot last year so I just set it on top of a chunk of wood. It seems mounting it was the thing to do.
It seems happy sitting on the wood! Healthy and vibrant. I like the colors, too, but I bet it turns some more. How about posting pictures of it again in a few days?
Thats pretty interesting, I was half expecting something reminiscent of Bc Hippodamia. If only the isthmus lip was imparted to this, that would make it fantastic.
