Default Epidendrum prismatocarpum failed to open

The first flowering after my purchase few months ago. Pretty little flowers didn't open fully. A bit sad though. Any idea what may cause this?

I put this on shaded area with charcoal media. It's been raining quite frequently lately and temperature has been up and down between 27 - 32 degrees Celcius.

Bulbs look healthy but new roots have not established yet. I certainly hope that this isn't one of those sayonara flowers.
