Thanks Warren, but I never change the name of my plants! It is a futile exercise, since all the time, there are some "newness" in terms of nomenclature! Considering the Brazilian Laelias (as L cinnabarina), which was "definitely" reclassified as Sophronitis and now is "definitely" a Cattleya! And that in just over three years! For me it will be allways a Lc!

Frederico,
I have no problems with your or others stance on keeping the old names on their plants, the problem is that if anyone tries to register a plant they need to use the correct name.

Hello Warren,
I agree with you except when you talk about "correct name". Better would be to say "official name" since the word "correct" conveys a value-judgment. In few years in the future, when another name is applied to these plants, this new name will be the "official", which does not mean that the former will become incorrect, the name just become "old"!
