Default Division C. Mary Ellen Carter 'Dixie Hummingbird'

Well, here she is!
Bloomed a bit too late to submit to the calendar contest but all the same, I thought I would share
I also have a mericlone of this plant which blooms out in the spring and has very minimal orange flaring of the petals; quite different than the impressive flare on the "original".
Enjoy!

nice blooms what is the scent like?I believe they are supposed to have a scent?
I bought a 2 to 3 years from bloom seedling last august and it has grown fast a very vigerous plant. But that was inside this summer outside in the heat it has grown very slowly and the leads it started in april are just now pushing out the leaves

I am not good at describing scents but it is very very nice <3
Reminds me of sweetness with a bit of spice.
Below is the bloom last spring of my mericlone of the same hybrid. I find the difference in the blooms from the division interesting. Maybe this is a mislabel?

PS. I do not photoshop my digital pics other than to resize them...
