It's autumn. Some plants of the species are going to bloom.

There are more than 5 weeks to the beginning of Autumn! Sept 21st is the date... still 35 % of the summer left! Anyway great bloom and probably in Taiwan the difference between the seasons is not like where I am!

I once read something which said the dates picked by UK and USA for the beginning of each season, are actually the middle of each season not the beginning if you calculate based on the spin of the earth and the actual seasonal weather changes.

Some parts of the world follow the UK and USA, but other parts of the world calculate them differently. Not sure if that's true, but the stuff I was reading about why the dates we use should really be the middle of each season seemed to make sence.

Rosie, thanks for the information.
According to the lunar calendar of the old China, it is autumn. Farmers in Taiwan nowadays still follow the rules of it.
