Default Bl X LC...blooming

the tags says is "Bl X LC" so it would be a brasso double laelia catteleya...Did a lot of cleaning on this one and noticed it has 20 leaves/bulbs/shoots and has had 20 blooms ..3 new leafs or bulbs...had to remove one peice that was almost detached anyway and got a nice mount out of it that has 2 more new little nubs...and its fragrant after dark ...

been digging roots off the clay pot for 2 days, need to watch these a few days and keep em hosed down

and the little mount I have started from it...this is too big already I'm fearing

and another one of the blooms...

a 100% percent blooming plant and Oh God dont let me be a loser!!!

In the old days it would have been called a Brassolaeliocattleya (Blc.). With most Laelia, some Cattleya and some Brassavola officially reclassified for hybrid registration it would probably be called something else now. Without knowing the exact cross there are quite a few possibilities.

Its a sweet flower, and the plant has obviously been growing vigorously, but it looks like it could use a little more sun.

It's really crawling out of that pot. Weird, my catts generally don't leave their home. They just dig right in.

It looks great and very healthy.

Good luck on the sneaking in part too.
