Cattleya
First of all I like to salute you all as a new member, then I like to show you this picture of a clay Cattleya I've made myself. A present to all from me and my two little ones.

Hello, Ted!
yes, I attached it but seems I'm quite a newbie to everything!
I've made an album here for cattleya group and have put the image in that album.

Thanks a lot for the link. Of course I don't mind and do appreciate what you've done. Actually I'm quite clumsy with the computer(!) and have to learn a lot.

Dear Vandas, Ted and Dave;
Thanks a lot for the lovely complements but talent is a mixture of techniques, patience and love. If you have patience and love for flowers- the most important factor that sure you have- I do assure you you can create much more beautiful forchids than what I've done.
Once you decide to make one let me know, may be I can help you in some regards.
Pliable Clay Flower/ Cold Porcelain is a detailed sculpture and can stay the same for a long time almost like a statue if sealed perfectly well.
I've seen some pieces that have been made more than 30 years ago and still they have the same beauty.
Thanks again
Zahra
I've a little Phalaenopsis but it still it needs time to grow up and because of my two kids I can only make these flowers and put them somewhere out of their reach!

Wonderful work! You would be a natural at making sugar flowers for wedding cakes.
How large are your plants.

There's an artist that posts a lot in the off topic section with some very elaborate clay orchids of his own- maybe he will chime in here.
