Cattleya dowiana rosita-ish
Not quite rosita (as seen by smweaver's stunning plant!), but definitely much darker than most dowianas. I got this plant 3 or 4 years ago from H&R, as I do most of my orchids. I also crossed it with my purpurata, which can be seen from last year's pics here: Laelia purpurata 6-16-2009 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
Should be nice!

Oooo, I've got to go search for a Canadian supplier that has this one. Love the lip veining and color.

Very nice, Steve. Pardon my ignorance, but why is this not quite a Rosita?

Well, the lineage is not from a rosita and I don't think the colors are quite as vivid as the real thing, like yours! Don't get me wrong though, I am VERY pleased with the coloration on this plant! Maybe Mauro or catwalker can lend an opinion on this. You guys out there? lol

Ask Harry for the larger ones like mine. I think they still have some left. Little pricey now though.

Thanks Steve for the info, on our list there is 2" and 4" pot sizes, so I sent them an email to inquire about larger than that....we'll see what comes of it.
C. dowiana x L. purpurata = Lc. Dominiana, by Veitch and registered in 1899
I was surprise to find 554 F1 hybrids with dowiana - looks like Mr. Popularity!
phearamedusa......have you dealt with Windsor Greenhouses? I have purchased many great plants from Jean over the years by mail.
