Laelia Canhamaniana var coerulea 'Cobalt'
Hello My lealias are starting to bloom this year and this is the first one.It is a very old cross from Stewart Orchids.I love the blue color.

This is one of my all time favorite primary crosses. I've never seen this clone of it before, and it is just MAGNIFICENT! Well done.
P.S. I belive is it an Lc., but with all the name changes, I could be totally wrong. LOL

Yes it is a Lc ( Catt mossiae var coerulea x L purpurata var werkauseri.)Sorry for mistake and thanks a lot.

The official registration is simply Cattleya Canhamiana now, or you could go with Sc. if you prefer. "L" purpurata is either a Cattleya or Sophronitis in current taxonomy, not a Laelia.
A beautiful display of huge flowers, no matter what one calls it. Nice growing!
