Default My Cattleya maxima finally bloomed!

I bought this in 2007 with a couple of sheaths that never turned into anything...Then last Spring it put out all new growths and more blank sheaths...finally this Spring it bloomed.

Thanks Sue, The funny thing is that they start out a really pale lavender and then deepen with age.

When mine bloomed this year I was soooo disappointed when it opened because of the color but then turned really nicely dark after a few days. Is yours from TOF?

I bought mine from Del Favero Orchids, but I think it has an Ecuagenera tag in it.

I think I would be disapointed with the initial colour, but then it deapens so nicely.
