Whatever the "name" is lovely! I love purpuratas no matter the correct or current genus name

Thank you.
I bought it bare root from an Ebay vendor 3-4 years ago. I forget the name, but I seem to remember that the vendor was a hobby grower.

Wabbit called it right!! By any name, it's beautiful!! It seems that all taxonomy experts fall into one of two buckets; the splitters and the lumpers. Seems like the lumpers are in control now.

It's gorgeous! Too bad you don't remember. I'll have to check around and see who has this variety. I love the light-colored purpuratas.

Ha!! Who, me? never?
I'm innocent of orchid hoarding, I swear (it's totally coincidental I need new shelves because I no longer have room) I dunno...the orchids multiplied without my knowledge.

I'm just trying to remember if this is an orchid I bought just over a week ago.
I got a Sophrontis something and then found out it's now a Cattleya and I have this feeling it was purpurata. I will have to look when I get home.
