I love this little miniature gem. I was slacking off on photos and just managed to get one of the four flowers that bloomed.

I first saw one of these early last year at an orchid show - I have been infatuated since! How do you grow this? Is it 'tricky'?

The flower is fantastic, Susan. How big is the plant? It looks, vegetatively, like a brassavola.

I grow under T5 lights in a higher light area. Right now its potted in bark. I let it dry between waterings-about once a week. So far its doing well. I got the plant last Dec. just as it was finishing a bloom cycle. The plant is interesting in that it blooms before the foliage grows out.

Apparently yes.

The foliage is about 4-5 inches tall and the plant is currently getting close to growing out of a 3 inch pot.
