Great pictures. I concur - one of my favorite orchid fragrances. Can't fit it into my terrarium, so I'm grateful for you sharing yours with us! Now if you could only share the smell!

Ted, this one is still fairly small. The tallest growth is maybe fifteen inches. But I've seen some pictures online of really large plants (maybe those were C. guttata, which I think might be a larger-growing species), so I'm preparing myself for when it becomes large enough to warrant its own bench.

Yep. You got the smaller one of the two species. You are only looking at plants up to 3ft instead of 6ft. So it is blooming on a lot shorter plant than I expected, thats nice.

Ted, I also have a couple of baby guttata plants, in addition to several more varieties of tigrina that are still at the seedling stage, and a few amethystoglossas (I think this might qualify as having some sort of fetish for bifoliate cattleyas, now that I think of it). So I should probably think about building a greenhouse now before all of the "children" grow up and start making things a bit congested around my house.
