Default Ports of Paradise

I just bought a BLC Ports of Paradise "Green Ching Hua." Does anyone have experience with this hybrid and advice on care and maintenance?

I have my Catt hybrids in the highest light outside my shade house and they are just sheltered from the direct sun by a River Birch tree. They are getting at least 4 hours of 4000 ft candles (filtered) per day.

I have mine in semi-hydro so my watering is different than yours probably. The temps here are getting to mid 90s during the day and low 70s at night. Humidity is holding steady at 78% outside (unless we get a rainshower).

I'm excited because I see sheaths on all but 2 Catt hybrids and these will be my first ever re-blooms.

Good luck and nice choice.

Thanks for your reply. Sounds like the new girl will fit in well here in northeast Florida. My catts are under a tall oak canopy, getting full-day filtered sunlight so this should be a good fit.

Curious about your "semi-hydro." My catts are in mixture of bark, charcoal, and ceramic stones - all in wood baskets. Is this what your are doing? Also, I feed with dilute Inoculaid/Miracle Grow once a week. All plants are sending out new shoots. Guess there are no absolute rules here since every location is a micro climate.
