OD walkeriana breeding article by Catwalker808!
I just recently got the opportunity to read the January 2010 Orchids Digest article written by Catwalker. It's a thoroughly researched comprehensive article that covers the finer points of the walkeriana craze that has descended the past few decades. If you have the slightest interest in walkerianas, FIND a copy of this article and read it!
Thanks Harry!

Also, the article is worth getting for the pictures alone.

Hi Chris!
You mean the "Catwalker808" is Harry Akagi? I'm subscribed to the OD and I thought the article very interesting! He managed to solve my doubts about the very suspicious "Pendentives" and "Orchidglades" (now I'm sure what they really are - anything but walkerianas!). Congratulations to "Catwalker808"!

Yes, great article! I think Harry is giving talks around the mainland (though I could be wrong) and if he is in your neighborhood, he gives a great lecture so check him out.

Chris. Glad you finally got the time to read the article, amidst all your work. It was a lot of effort writing it, in parts & finally putting it all together, but I thought I had a good story to tell. And I was glad to be able to contribute to Orchid Digest. It's a real quality magazine for serious orchid enthusiasts.
Thank you everyone else for the nice comments. I hope others also get to read the article.
Isurus. No, I'm not traveling all over the US giving talks. I am giving one this afternoon in Los Angeles at the OD Speakers Day Seminar. Jump on a plane, but you'll have to beat the time zone difference.

Well, after that article I think you should tour the mainland and get official orchid 'rockstar' status!
