Default Cattleya luteola

I was working around the 'chids the other and I was surprised to see this little guy! You can see how big (or small) the flower is by looking at its neighbor which is a Dend. Aussie Chip. Very cool looking little flower!

Quite a pretty bloom, Steve. Does it have any scent?

Unfortunately, this little guy is next to one of the most fragrant orchids I've ever encountered (the Dend. Aussie Chip), so all I can smell is that! The whole basket that the Catt is in has kind of been absorbed by the jungle wall behind it, so I don't want to move it either for fear of not being able to get it back in correctly. Sorry!

Ok, a little off topic, but what's the background of the Aussie Chip? I've never heard of it. And good luck disentangling the C. luteola from the Little Shop of Horrors scenario. :-)
