Default One leaf - two leafs catts...

I would like to ask the difference between one leaf - two leafs catts. Is it that the one leafs like cooler and dryer conditions.

I have two potinaras, one is a one leaf and the second has two leaves, are they both realy potinaras?

There are both unifoliate and bifoliate species of cattleya. Hybrids often follow along, and sometimes a single plant will show both types on different growths.

I don't think you can make any meaningful generalization about monofoliate vs. bifoliate species being this or that. Even if you restrict it to just talking about traditional Cattleya species there would be too many exceptions. If you start to talk about hybrids like Potinara with 4 different genera and perhaps dozens of species involved, and 2 Potinaras could have absolutely no species in common in their background, it is certainly futile to try. Specific care for each species is easy enough to find, so why rely on a generalization? And most hybrids end up doing find in general conditions that are also easy to look up.
