Susanne,I noticed those nice white trays under your plants. Are they special trays from an orchid vendor? or can you buy them anywhere? I'm looking for trays to set up an orchid area in my home. Right now the orchids are in every room.

Helen, I definitely took the road of least expense for the humidity trays!

They are Rubbermaid Drawer Dividers that I got in Walmart for $2.47 each... we also bought 1 piece of white lattice for a few bucks and my husband cut it into the sizes I needed

Great! thanks Susanne for the tip. I'm looking for 'reasonably' priced trays right now....I noticed the lattice and thought that was a great idea too...that's what caught my eye.
Do you put any type of pebbles in the trays? or just water?

Ooh, that's also beautiful whatever it is. White and blue are my favourite colours for Catts
