Cattleya Kir. Stephanie Takasaki 'Jareds'
Just curious if anyone out there owns a Kir. Stephanie Takasaki 'Jareds'. I recently picked one up as a 'Baggie Baby' at Lowes. When I came home from the store, I tried to do some research on it, and I couldn't find a darn thing about it other than what I read on here. I have no idea what my flowers are going to look like when they bloom, except that they will be yellow. Anyone have any pictures they'd like to share? Any other information about this orchid would be great!

Kirchara has Epi stamfordianum & Slc in the background. Guessing from the registered name & clonal name, I believe this particular hybridizer made a number of crosses using stamfordianum.
My guess is that the plant will be very short with slender pbulbs, slender leaves ... 7-8" tall. Don't know the Slc parent, but flowers will be yellow, probably with some reddish spotting & probably a red lip. Small flowers, about 1 to 1-1/2", clusters on upright spike.

Thank you for your knowledge! I know I'm quite a ways away from blooming, but I'm just so anxious to see it's beauty!

That's a big plant.
Well ... at least I got the yellow flower color, the red spots, the upright clusters & relatively small flower size. The rest of my assumptions were wrong
I assumed that because the hybridizer used the small flowered branching stamfordianum, that he also used a small Slc to produce a small hybrid. I just looked up Slc Selsel's Supernova (Lc Gold Digger x Slc Kauai Starbright). That's certainly not a small Slc.
I guess the breeder just wanted those red spots.
