How Different Siblings Can Be

Hello everyone,

How different siblings can be. We (John & myself) wanted to share pictures of two full siblings with you all, both are the same cross Slc. Seagulls Mini-Cat Heaven x Blc. Orglades Happy Face. Both were bred by Krull-Smith Orchids, one belongs to myself and the other belongs to John aka MiniCatt. Besides the color difference mine is around 12 inches tall (in a 6 inch pot) and his is about 5 inches (in a 4 inch pot). The first two pictures are of mine, the last two pictures are of the plant that belongs to John.

should see me and my sisters! all three of us are different even we have the same parents!

just joking! it seems both plants inherit different genetic traits... couldn't say more, i haven't finish orchid genetic lesson... i'm quite good in cat genetic traits though!

Neat. You can tell they're related, but still individuals. That's why I like to buy seedlings instead of clones. I love surprises.
