What conditions were the roots in when you transplanted it?

Is the plant putting out new growth with the accompanying new roots?

Those two factors might affect the ability of the plant to take up water, so you'll need to keep it very warm, shady, and humid until it recovers.

Concerning the medium, I suggest that you thoroughly soak it, wait 30 minutes, then do so again. It will retain more like that. Also, in the future, douse the bark with very hot water, then let it cool before use. That really "opens up" the structure.

some of the roots were died a few were a little mushy and some were new growth roots but is has been a full two years or so before it was potted again. the plant is also putting out a new growth and two budds are small but forming. it gets morning light from 8 to 11 and then afternoon from 5 to 7 i dont know if i should water more till the leaves get no wrinkles or just water like normal till it adjust to the new potting.

How many good new growth roots is = to some? Two or three? five ....even with "some good new growth roots" you may have just caught it in the nick of time and the two leaves that are shriveling might not be a result of how you have watered since the repotting ....but the results of roots that have alreday died which you have now cleaned up.

I would be carefull not to overwater for sure. With the new leads coming on new roots will also follow soon

I really think the leaves shriveling was in progress before the repotting and the condition would have happened repotting or not.
