Laelia anceps var. lineata
This variety is characterized by radial darker lines/areas in the petals. In spite those darker lines/areas suggest a possible light pelory, these flowers don't show any other sign indicating this possibility.

I love that dark velvety lip with that tiny yellow tongue.

Mauro, This is another favorite of mine. When I first saw this variety a few years ago the first thing that that popped into my mind was "what a shame another virused orchid." It did not take long for me to see that I was wrong.

You are not alone in this, Ted! The other day a friend, visiting a commercial nursery, saw a plant of this variety in bloom and ask the owner the price. The owner said to my friend 'That? Oh, that's a virused plant, you can take it for free if you want'.

Well, I am glad that I am not the only one to make that mistake.
