Default Prosthechea radiata

I once saw a large pot with dozens of spikes of this species. It was a large pot (two feet across) covered with flowers. The fragrance of all those blooms was something out of this world. I bought a division and decided I was going to have something like that someday... Oh, well, it is taking me ages to get there... the plant is getting larger each year, but three years later all I have is three spikes!!!

This is has been one of my favorites for many years. The plants that I remember had a strong vanilla fragrance.

I really like this species a lot. Like you said, Mauro, the fragrance is just wonderful! Even one flower can perfume a whole room.

Now I really like that

It might not be as big as the one you saw, but it's gorgeous anyway.
