Blc Ocoset
I didn't find the registration of this orchid. Maybe the tag speling is wrong, or it is not a Blc (Rsc)

Very pretty. Can't help with the name I'm afraid.

Did a search on the RHS site, Ocoset doesn't show up, so I checked a few different ways of spelling it, sorry no luck. Very good flower, does deserve a name.

Hi Frederico,
One of the alleged parents of this hybrid is Blc. Oconee, the other parent is something Sunset, I don't remember now the first name. The flower has been sold in Brazil using this name, Blc. Ocoset (contraction of Oconee and Sunset), because it has never been registered. This hybrid origin is dubious as are the alleged parents. But the fragrance is great, isn't it?

Very beautiful hybrid you have there.
I did a seach in the RHS Site using (cat Oconee X cat Sunset) Here are the results:
Rhyncholaeliocattleya Burdekin Sunset
Rhyncholaeliocattleya Chialin Beauty
Rhyncholaeliocattleya Sunstate Colorchart
then reversed it:
Rhyncholaeliocattleya Hawaiian Challenge
Rhyncholaeliocattleya Panache Oconee
Good luck narrowing it down!

Thank you guys! I was in Peru for a few days and now I'm back.
The scent is delicious even, Mauro!

Frederico, seems to me that Ocoset is a hybrid among Occone x Waikiki Sunset, as I saw in a list of meristemas, apparently it is not registered still. Regards with love, GG

Oconee x Waikiki Sunset = Burdekin Sunset
