smweaver.

We made a seedling batch of this a number years ago. It did not cause a lot of excitement then, because a friend had given us a seed pod, but no photo (we didn't even know what the flowers looked like). Of course, when they started blooming a few times, we decided we needed to remake a larger batch. But it will be a couple of years before these become available.

Thank you. You Brazilians have so many names for all the color forms. Do you have a color dictionary that everyone uses. In the US, all we have are color chips in the art store or in the paint store to give us the number codes for various colors.

Actually, as you know, varietal names should be picked up from Latin, or Latinized as is usual, and this is the case here. 'Lilacina' is Latin for 'lilac-colored'. As Portuguese has deep roots in Latin, 'lilacina' is also a current word for 'lilac-colored (derived from lilás, the lilac color).
Well, lilacina or not, the important thing is that you have a very desirable semi-alba!!
