It had to be, with a name like that.
But who's crownfox? I see that name in a lot of Vanda hybrids - first time I see it on a catt.

Thanks everyone!
Not sure about the 'crownfox' thing, it's what was on the tag. There's so many names out there, it's still very confusing to me.

'Crownfox' is the name given to a particular clone of a cross, from a specific grower. In this case I think it is R.F. Orchids. It's like the 'Mendenhall' you see on many plants from Carter and Holmes Orchids. Carl, the one I was most familiar with is C. intermedia orlata 'Crownfox', but after looking at their website, they do have a lot of vandas too.

Beautiful flowers and plants. White Cattleyas are my favorite.

Crownfox comes from Michael Coronado and Bob Fuchs. Coronado = spanish for 'crown' and Fuchs = german for 'fox'. And yes, they are the proprietors of RF Orchids in SoFla.
