Cattleya aclandiae
This is a very reliable bloomer for me. Every year it blooms about 2-3x and it smells great! For some reason, this plant has been growing around the backside of the mount and now faces the wall, but seems just fine doing so! Weird. Anyway, enjoy.
P.S. As always, I can't seem to capture the right color pink on this one. It is a very vivid, dark pink that just jumps out, especially in contrast to the yellow and black spotting.

Beautiful. I really like the contrast between the pink and the spotting. Looks like a happy plant!

Very beautiful plant--and that must be some attractive wall! I think I might try to mount mine, since it just seems content to put out new growths each year and not produce any flowers (although lately I've been considering just whacking it with a stick once in a while to see if that might help). Congratulations on those flowers. They're incredibly beautiful.

Really pretty one. I love the contrast of the pink against the spots. It looks really happy where it is, even if it wants to face the wall.

One of the nicest 'wall flowers' I've seen. Well done!

Sure thing. This plant gets very bright light for most of the day. Basically direct Hawaiian sunlight with some filtering from other plants around it (maybe taking 20% of the light away). Its gets watered every day, but is mounted and dries off in probably 15 minutes or so. This plant is also grown outside all year round and seems to grow the most from January through May, which is when the most rain in Hawaii falls. Temps are warm and never fall below 60 degrees or so and not above 90 in summer. Oh, it gets tons of wind from the trades that blow most of the year. Fertilizer is a balanced fert. 2x per month, with a fish fert as additional food 1x per month.
