Reports on the campinarama ecotype of eldorado are not good. Urban expansion of Manaus, according to recent reports, are putting this ecotype in danger because it occurs exactly in the neighborhood of the city. Campinaramas are rich in sand which is being exploited for the new houses construction with the consequent destruction of the habitat of this species.
The second photo shows the variety oweni (that we normally would call semi-alba if it were not for the previous description as oweni in Lindenia).
