Hey everyone,
I have a Blc. Sanyung Ruby 'Lakeview' and it's fairly small, I got it from Homedepot a while ago so I don't know how old it is but I'm so anxious to get a first bloom out of it! I've attatched a link so you can view it and it's size so hopefully someone can tell me if it may give me its first bloom from it's new shoot it's developed or if I will have to wait another year or so. It's doing very well, along with my other orchids under my Wonderlite, which has encouraged so much new growth on all my chids and given me re-bloms and new spikes on some of my chids very recently. Anyways, take a look and tell me what you think! http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/a.../camera172.jpg
Thankyou all.
I would say that you have a couple of years to go, that is a very healthy half grown seedling, BUT I have been surprised before by some plants. My Sanyung was 3 times the size of that plant before flowering.
Aw man. Oh well, I'm willing to wait for that bloom though so I'll just keep giving it all the light and water and fert, and see how things go. Thankyou for the reply!
