Default C. Empress of Mercury‘Gwo-Luen’

I took this photo at an orchid show for our new year.
This cross was created in 1978 and has been popular.

Cool! I had one of these years ago, but lost it, and I couldn't seem to find any info on it. I was starting to think I dreamed the whole thing up. Nice to know I wasn't totally in la la land. Thanks, pheli!

Pheli, It's nice to see this old cultivar still being grown.

Kim, I know the feeling. In the mid 80s I had a Cattleya Bob Betts 'The Virgin' . Around 5 years ago, I started looking for it again. I finally found one 2 years ago. Now if I could get the darn thing to bloom so I can verify that it truly is Cattleya Bob Betts 'The Virgin'.

Thanks, Kim and Ted.
In Taiwan, this cross is seldom grown now.
Only some cattleya collecters own it.
C. Bob Betts is a classic white cattleya but it is not easily to find it.
