Just found this post searching for growing info on this variety. I am very happy to say I also got this one as a freebie with 2 paid plants. It is supposed to have yellow flowers per description on tag .All 3 plants came in mail today, in excellent condition.
Being a newbie,I am trying to learn and expand my collection and was wishing for a B. nodosa. When I saw this freebie I was so surprised and happy(they do not disclose name of freebie in advance).

Although, plants are advertised to be in a 4 inch basket, they are in a teeny tiny pot that is stuck in the 4 inch wood basket. The pot (in the basket) is secured with help of bark chips.
Just something to keep in mind when comparing plant size to pricing. I have no complaint whatsoever though.

Curious about how you are growing it. Did you repot on arrival,or have you transferred to bigger pot yet?

Mine just started blooming and is from Marble Branch Farms nursery too. I do not detect any scent. But I have not tried taking a sniff at night.
Does anyone know if it is scented ?

Very Pretty! I've bought several quality orchids from Marble Branch Farms. They're an excellent source for mini-catts. My only complaint is that their plants are usually very small.

Tucker, they do have nice plants and I buy from them frequently but when a grower says near blooming size that could be one to two years from blooming.

I am not much in to scents because, quite frankly, I am sensitive to many of them but the next time my plant blooms I will be sniffing.

Plumania,
All of the nodosa hybrids are quite happy growing in the smallest possible container. They planted it that way to avoid disturbing the roots. Leave it alone. It will grow over and out of the pot into the basket. You could free it up a little by cutting away some of the pot if you can do that.
