Default Epicatanthe (Lc.) Volcano Trick

(Cattlianthe (Lc.) Trick or Treat x Epi. stamfordianum
When I purchased this plant last summer it was advertised as Lc. Trick or Treat. When it arrived it was labeled with the above name. I was very surprised when I saw the flowers. This is the first time it has ever bloomed and it is capable of producing a large number of flowers because of the Epi. stamfordianum parent.

Don't you just love the color on this one? I had one bloom for the first time during the second half of '09 and it has since bloomed a few times. Looks like you got one of the nice dark colored varieties too. Very nice!

P.S. I think the name is actually now Guarophidendrum Volcano Trick. It will probably change a few more times by the time you read this! lol
