What gorgeous flowers!

The pot is interesting. Is it covered in moss?

Yes, it is covered in moss, because of the high humidity.

Hello Smartie,

It is gorgeous and very fragrant!!! The lip is like vevelt (vevelt = velutina). It is native from Espírito Santo - Brazil.

Very handsome cattleya species. And yours looks incredibly healthy. Is it a strictly warm grower, or does it prefer (or tolerate) cooler winter temperatures?

Very well, Moisés! It looks nice and healthy. Unfortunately, it is on the official Brazilian list of extremely endangered species (if not extinct already!).
Good work on this!
