Not necessarily. Why do you think so?

No it's fine, keep going with the discussion. It's good in a way that the discussion isn't just about the plant but other things as well.
I find it entertaining and informative.

I was thinking in terms of price and dead or alive arrival... that if you have to pay a lot and go through middlemen that you would actually very carefully decide what plants you want and why and not just pick anything from a list?

Yes, of course. But don't you think about what you get? I always think for few months about what to order next time. And I always get less than I want, unfortunately.... ![Sad](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif) But from the other side it is good, because my growing space is limited at the moment.

I haven't really made big orders [well just the one time I did ![Wink](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif) ] with nurseries, though I haven't got a proper GH setup yet and when it is I'll bet that empty space will be filled up in no time
Generally I've ordered 1-2 plants when buying other supplies like pots.
If there were any nurseries closer to me [say 20 minutes] I bet I'd be buying 1 everyday! ![Nod](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/nod.gif)
