Default Epi.schomburgkii

This is a very vigorous growing reed-stemmed Epidendrum.....and one of my favorites of it's genus. I currently have about 200-250 seedlings of it's offspring from a little cross I made with Bl. Richard Mueller...they are not even a year old, and most are already 6"-8" tall (they got that from their momma!) The plant pictured is a little over three feet tall. It seems to do well in bark or soil....or just about anything, as long as it gets lots of light.

Jasen

Thanks for the photo of this gorgeous specimen! Do you grow this outdoors?

The cross you made sounds like a healthy plant. Good luck with the flowers.

Thank you. It stays in the bright end of the shadehouse, next to the Vandas.
