Default noid cattleya bloom

this is my noid cattleya that my OH gave me for Valentine's day in 2008.

Last year it only had one bloom, but this year it has 8 buds (including these open 2)

any id suggestions will be helpful too

Enjoy

Really nice!

Can't help on the ID I'm afraid but it reminds me slightly of Summer Spot. I don't think it is that, but it reminds me of that.

The flower looks similar to C. Fort Motte, but lighter in color than some I have seen pictured. It is a quite variable cross if I remember correctly. There are quite a few similar hybrids and unless this is a well known cultivar it isn't likely you will find an exact identification. Good luck. You must be doing something right because it seems healthy and happy.
