As far as I know, the easiest way to keep up to date on name changes is via Orchidwiz and the like. Orchidwiz is updated every 3 months, so it always has the most current names. That being said, if you ever need an ID check, just Facebook or PM me and I'd be more than happy to check it out! Gives me an excuse to use the program, and drool over more orchids.

OK, here is a quick step by step on how to check your plant names.
1. Go to the RHS site
2. click on Plants
3. click on Plant finder
4. On the right hand side under other horticultural searches you will find 'Orchid Register' go there.
5. You then have 'Parentage search and Grex name search'
6. Let's say someone posted an image with the name's "Blc. Burdekin Delight x Blc. Brunswick Blush"... The first thing to do here is to get (or check) that these are valid names, so click on 'Grex name' and type in burdekin delight (all small case) , click on search and up comes the correct name.
Rhyncholaeliocattleya Burdekin Delight,
if you then click on that name it will give you the parents and all other info on this plant.
7. So we have checked that the 2 plants are valid, now we click on 'Parentage search and in the Grex box only (forget the Genus one) type in burdekin delight and below it type in brunswick blush, click on search and up will come Rhynchlaeliocattleya Karangie, it's that easy.
