Some of you may recall I posted a picture of one of my cattleya that was growing a keiki where one would have expected a flower.
Well, today I followed your advice and grabbed the base of the little guy and plucked him right out of his home. The roots were going every which way and I just couldn't wait any longer. So here are some follow-up pictures....

p.s. It will be interesting to see how long it takes this to flower - seedling time or division time?
I have saw several post along this line and they have postulated that it is the genetics in the background are from a family which does produce keikis and henc the ocassional keiki on the hybrids
