These pics (I toke this morning) show two Bifrenarias (these little ones are formerly called
Stenocoryne or
Adipe)
Bifrenaria leucorrhoda (leukos=white; rhodon=rose, color of the rose, pink). leucorrhoda is the biggest 'stenocoryne', and this one is blooming since november/2006.
Bifrenaria vitellina (vitellinus=egg yolk color). First blooming, and I think the plant was wrong labeled, appears like
Bifrenaria stefanae, similar but not 'egg yolk colored'; but I'll wait til the flowers have been fully opened. Two spikes and four buds, for the first blooming its very good!
This is NOID Cattleya (C. Portia like) that I posted in the "Identification Forum" but unfortunately nobody could help.
