As is often the case when I attempt to take a digital pic of a purple or red flower, the color in this pic is inaccurate. The flower pic is rather red or magenta-ish (depending on the monitor) but the flower is actually purple

It's gorgeous, I always have trouble with reds/purples as well. My camera has a 'vivid' setting which seems to capture reds better and it has a 'flouresent light' setting which seems to capture the purples better. Still not easy.
