Perplexing Purpuratas

I recently purchased the revised edition of Lou Menezes book LAELIA PURPURATA: A RAINHA. While full of wonderful information and many pictures, to me, a major shortcoming is that the descriptions of the various color varieties are not coordinated with the photos. There are regional differences, apparently, in the designations of the color varieties as well as attributions being used for varietal names. I find it difficult to distinguish between some of the varieties and would ask if someone (maybe you Mauro) would post pictures along with a discussion of distinguishing features of the following: striata vs venosa vs flammea; flammea vs rosada vs rubra vs sanguinea; the blues, i.e. aco, ardosia, coerulea, werkhauserii
