You've got right! Al is North of me and I haven't heard peep out of him in ages. What do you suppose Al is up to these days? Should I give him a little tap and find out?

No, I'm afraid I don't put many outdoors in the summer. I do have about 8 to 10 phals I put outdoors but on my open porch, and still they never fail to come in with bugs lurking in the fall. That takes me a couple months to debug and get them back to normal. Not a big fan of all that extra work.

It's a beauty, Kiki. I got one from Andy's as well, but I chose to get it potted. When I repotted it into my own mix it didn't seem too happy anymore. I mounted it and it took off with a flush of new roots and growths. I don't usually fare too well with mounted plants due to my growing conditions but this seems like one that really prefers it. It's in bloom right now.

Kiki, I know what it's like bringing in all those summer vacationers! But I still put stuff out all summer and in late July/early August I treat with Bayer Merit granular as a systemic so I kill off any potential grubs, etc. Then just before they come in, I spray everything with something like Bayer 3-in-1 and so far so good.... But putting stuff outside to bake is the only way I can get my Cymb and Catts to bloom!
