For me, one of the easier Laelia to grow, light: a little bit less than for Catts, water and fertilyser when it is in active growing. The plant has two flower stems that bear a total of sixteen fragrant flowers when a ray of sunshine appears.
Those are incredibly beautiful blooms. I accidentally whacked mine against a bench in late September and broke the developing spike. So I'm glad that I at least get to enjoy the sight of the blooms from the other side of the planet. Congratulations on your wonderful flowers. Can you submit a picture of the plant, please?
it is a great one to have
have you experiencedthe bud growth stalling if not given enough light in the fall?mine seemed to stall last year, but I gave it more sun this year on my windowsill and it bloomed beatifully

In autumn flower stalks are already growing. This year they appeared at the end of August. It is the amount of light received by the end of spring and summer that triggers flowering.
