Fantastic species laelia!
I am jealous. I had a great Laelia cinnabarina back bulb division going strong - in under 60 days from dividing the plant it had two strong new PB's starting, then virtually overnight they both died. I guess it got put to bed a bit wet and cold. I am giving it the plastic bag and sphagnum treatment as a last ditch effort and I noticed some new healthy root growth.

That is an awesome orchid. I love the intense, saturated orange color of the blooms, and the small, frilly lip.
