B. Kiilani Stars ( Little stars x perinni)
I could not be happier with the fragrance, predominantly rosy-floral. No chemical undertones that can be unpleasant with other brassavola. The bottom notes on this one remind me of Acidanthera, which is also called the Peacock orchid.
It took two years to switch its program to growing good water roots as you can see in the second photo. Another division, more than twice the size of this one with lots of healthy roots, placed in lecca, in passive hydro, has only put out dry sheets. I was ready to give away the whole lot of them to someone with better light and humidity until I smelled this flower.
