Wow, that is one massive catt in the first pic. They all look gorgeous, but that is just stunning!

Rosie the plant is C. Hail Storm (bowringiana x skinneri) 'Coconut Orchids'. It was first awarded a CCM of 85 points by the AOS in January 2002...at that time the award description said "..864 flowers on 72 inflorescences evenly distributed over ~300 pseudobulbs...plant 160 cm in diameter..." It was even larger when exhibited at the WOC I described it being "as big as a boulder".

unbelievable blooms, how do i make that happen? my cats seem to be reluctant bloomers. i have much better luck with my other types of orchids.

Beats me...maybe a U-Haul...there were certainly spectacular displays at the WOC and spectacular plants.
