Default Laelia lobata alba

This clone is my strongest lobata; I have two pots, more or less with the same plant size; and I'll have to repot both soon!

Very beautiful. I like the snow-white blooms.

Mine grows well too, Fred. The real trouble is having the type in bloom!

You sound a little bit overworked, Frederico. If you would just ship this one up here to me, that would be one less repotting project you would have to worry about.

How tall are those growths? Do the blooms last long, or are they short lived?

Steve

Hi friends!

Steve, the growths are 40cm tall (pbulb+leaf), and with spike+flowers surpasses 50cm! The flowers are a little bit smaller than a purpurata flower, but the scent is better! The flowers are long-lasting, more than two weeks
Jan, Mauro observes the same "behavior" in his lobatas, the alba is stronger and easier to bloom than type!
