Default Laelia purpurata var. estriata

I grow several estriatas, but this is one of my favorites. I think the flower has well proportioned segments producing a nice view!

Wow, so different from the other Laelia purpurata that you have posted recent.

I like this one as well, although I have to say I find the ones with the white pettals more stunning because of the contrast.

Don't get me wrong, I love this one as well... but I have to have favourites and the white petals/sepals ones are at the top.

It may not seem like it (my hubby does not think it's true) but there ARE orchids I don't like... but there are not many and although I don't have any (yet) the Cattleya alliance are ALL wonderful and all the L. purpurata that I have seen are up near the top

Mauro,
This one is stunning! You are absolutely right about the shape being really nice on this one. The color is awesome and the picture is really crisp and sharp! Very nice.

Don't worry, Rosie, I know what you mean!
If you ask me if there are orchids I don't like I'd say yes, of course... let me see... there's that one... oh! no, that one I like... let me see... huummm... I swear there are some, but I can't remember... I'll keep thinking, maybe tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow I'll remember one orchid I don't like...
Well, putting the kidding aside, there are orchids I don't like to grow. I like the flowers, but not the growing habit, like many Bulbos that you can't keep in the pot, or vine-like orchids.
