Cattleya maxima var. alba

This is still a seedling, flowering for the first time. I let the buds develop because I was curious about how the fowers would look like (I have several seedlings of this sow and this was one of the few without any trace of pigmentation on the leaves or root tips - it confirmed to be an alba)

Really nice. I love the delicate looking shape of this one, and it looks really good in the alba. I agree with Kim that the yellow tounge in the throut is wonderful.

Please contact Kanavaru for better explanation... your plant is incredibly pretty, but if I am right with that, them you will have to be extra careful handling your alba... unless of course there is another alba cultivar out there
